Bought this to replace an older CHARGEWORX gooseneck cup holder cell mount. My old one's neck feels lighter than this one so it could have been a different model CHARGEWORX, as I do see their store has several different available models and prices that are all 10 inch gooseneck cup holder cell phone mounts. After many years of use & repositioning, the gooseneck broke at the base on my old one, so it would flop over when the vehicle was is motion. The new one feels a bit more "solid" in the neck so I don't anticipate that being a problem anytime soon.I choose the CHARGEWORX because unlike other brands it fits a smaller 2.5" dashboard cup holder. I can't use vent clip mounts because when I use the hot air the phone overheats and shuts down the GPS. I can't use dash mounts because the sun causes the same overheating issue, so I need a gooseneck to keep the phone just far away enough from the vent and/or dash when using GPS, and the CHARGEWORX gooseneck cup holders do the job perfectly.
