I thought I'd give these a try as the compact design takes up so little space, and on some cars there's not a lot of dash real estate-like on my son's Corolla. The adhesive on the circle magnet that attaches to the cell phone is awesome- a strong 3m stick and a super strong magnet to hold any phone. BUT!!! the problem is the tiny base of the unit which has a tiny sticking surface to stick to the dashboard which wasn't nearly strong enough to hold the phone's weight.. why such a design? I don't know, but it was impossible to get the small base stuck anywhere without it falling off. If they could strengthen the base adhesive this would be great. It may work on some other dashboard but not on the Corolla- ultimately I had to return it.July 15th UPDATE: I realized that I made a mistake when installing (always read the instructions thoroughly!) and didn't let the base adhesive bond long enough before using.****When you stick the phone holder on the dash -wait for 10 minutes before you use-this is VERY IMPORTANT! ******If you do this as described, it will stick perfectly.It's a very simple, compact solution for mounting your phone in your car.5 stars!!
