This is a great phone holder, it just clips on the the vent and its great. Being so slim it doesn't block airflow when not in use. This is strictly a gravity based holder. Drop the phone in, and drops in and the arms come up and meet the phone. The weight of the phone holds it in place really well. The phone does not jiggle or come loose at all while driving. Excellent holder.
