This just didn’t stick well at all. I bought it to replace the ring on my phone case that came off, which happens all the time. I specifically chose this style because I had one from a discount store before & I loved it & it worked very well. What I really like is that it’s round. Many phone rings are flat on the sides &/or have a weird shape that’s not ergonomic or comfortable on your finger. Other phone rings are also made of metal, which is good for jewelry that fits snugly but awful for something that you’re constantly slipping on & off your finger. (Or if you’re like me, using it as a holder almost non-stop). The material is very comfortable because it’s smooth & pliable.Unfortunately, unlike the other one I had, this one didn’t adhere well at all. The adhesive came un-stuck almost immediately, like not even 36 hours later! Since I just have a cheap novelty case that I bought in Harlem on 125th St, I went ahead & super-glued the thing to the case. Too bad the original adhesive was just a thin layer that I should have removed before using the super glue because THAT ended up eventually peeling away from the super glue! I re-glued it but I was disillusioned, especially when one of the rings came off. The base is actually really stuck on quite well now & the one ring that’s left seems sturdy. Of course it’s unusable on the car vent, which is actually a bummer on the few occasions that I drive. Oh, well, I still have the other one from the 2-pack. But I shouldn’t have all these issues. The adhesive should be much stronger & longer-lasting & the rings should be sturdier.I have bought this 4 times. The only problem is that the loop does not stay in place. When I attach it to the AC grill, my phone goes upside down. Otherwise it is a good product.I couldn't use it on the vent if I wanted to. First day one of the clips came out and I couldn't get it to stay back in the hole. The other one is still working good so I use it fine. No problems with adhesion to the cover and I like the rubber cover to keep it from sliding when I use it to prop up the phone and watch a movie or something.I like how tight the joint is where it folds, because the ring won’t slide shut when you’re using it as a kickstand. But the point where the ring spins 360 degrees is very loose. So when I fold the ring in an upward direction, it will swing downward with gravity. This is annoying when I need the ring to lie specifically upward because I’m placing it in an upright stand or flat on a surface but want a slight angle to see the screen.Edit:After maybe 2 times of actually using the ring on my air vents, the rubbery coating began to tear. It’s actually a very flimsy silicone, instead of the sturdier PVC tubing that I’ve had on other rings of the same design that I’ve purchased. Very disappointed, but I guess that’s why you get 2 for so cheap. I’ll have to see if I can remove this ring without damaging my case. Unimpressed.found this exact one at another store after awhile it broke got on amazon and found it again and these seem to stand up better then the other ones did. Like that I'm able to clip it on the vent in the car while driving and it isn't bulk or wont tear like the pop onesI used my first one for almost 2 years before it broke, but the next one lasted less than a month. I don't use it on the car vent very often, but the rings work great to hang my phone from a carabiner. They're also just the right size to hold my power bank while it's charging.I have previously ordered this type and love them but this only came with 1.Product lasted less then 48 hours before breaking. Poor quality!
